Skuad E is a Nigeria Afro singer, songwriter and recording artist who is set to take the international music scene by storm. He was was born Emmanuel Amodu Reuben in Kaduna State to Kogi State parents and is love for music developed and blossomed during his early years as a chorister.
His foray into the music industry began as a member of the Kaduna State defunct group, Youth With A Purpose (YWAP) where he interacted with some of Nigeria’s biggest recording artists like Praiz, Skales, and Terry Tha Rapman. Skuad E was also a member Squad Pac under which he released his first track, Gbedu in 2010.
He became a solo artist in 2011 and signed with Ape Vibes Records releasing Fine Girl and No Gain. With the ups and downs of the music industry, Skuad E parted ways with Ape Vibes and in 2014 he continued to advance his musical career by releasing Play featuring Akas and African Model in 2017 under the AEN Music imprint.
In 2017 Skuad E performed at the AFRIMA along notable African recording artists and also toured in some parts of Africa. He’s a talented individual who is also an actor with a role in Tinsel an Africa Magic show, and he’s the co-writer of the Yoruba movie, Ilebaye.
Skuad E is entering the international music landscape with his hit single African Lady due in stores on November 29, 2019 and he was a featured artist at the 2019 AFRIMA.
